The World Health Organization, in collaboration with the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa (AHILA), produced this international index to African health literature and information sources.

Built by librarians from the University of California, Wake Forest University, California State University, the University of Detroit – Mercy, and other universities and colleges, the site makes searches of scholarly e-resources in scientific and humanities/social sciences disciplines, in terms of record origin, resource access (free or fee based) and resource type.
