BIGARD MEMORIAL SEMINARY, ENUGU CONCLUDE THE MARIAN MONTH OF MAY AND JOYFULLY CELEBRATES THE BLESSING AND SYMBOLIC OPENING OF THE NEWLY REMODELED AND RECONSTRUCTED GROTTO OF OUR LADY OF GRACE

As we conclude the Marian Month of May, the Bigard Memorial Seminary community joyfully celebrates the blessing and symbolic opening of the newly remodeled and reconstructed Grotto of Our Lady of Grace by our most dear father Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Albert Okechukwu Ikpenwa on this day 31st May 2026.

This cherished place of prayer has been beautifully renewed through the generosity of the benefactors of Fr. Collins Nwodo, who contributed majorly in this project, and that of the formators and seminarians of Bigard whose contribution in the design, donations, construction and other works also played a big role to the final outcome of this project.

The Seminary community expresses her profound gratitude to Fr. Collins, his benefactors, the Bigard family and also to everyone who saw this project through till it's completion for this noble gift, which will continue to enrich the spiritual and devotional life of seminarians and visitors alike.

May this grotto remain a place where hearts are drawn closer to Christ through the loving intercession of His Blessed Mother, and may Our Lady of Grace continue to watch over and guide our Seminary family.
